In Jeff's own words "Simply Divided is a comedy based in the mythical town of Simply, Alabama. Written in a style similar to that of Steel Magnolias, this play is about how the women in Simply try to deal with the loss of nearly every eligible man in town because a new truck plant, and better jobs, has opened in Mobile. The play is set in the town’s last remaining diner and follows how the friendship of four of the town’s most prominent women are tested when a handsome young man moves to town to teach at the local high school."
